Neighborhood of Kids
How the Lord works! We hit the streets last night and HE did not disappoint! We ended up in a neighborhood with LOTS of kids. There were so many families coming outside. They were very thankful for the pizza, prayer, and Bibles. We also had lots of snacks to give out. We drove down Admiral for a short time. We ended up picking up “Mr. Walker”, We have met him numerous times in the past. He always goes by “Mr. Walker”. He is 28 years old. He is a drug addict. He is very nice. He is always respectful. Last night was different. He gave us his real name. His real name is Jalen. The wall is starting to come down around his heart. He’s opening up to us. He was crying on the bus last night. Face tattoos and all.. and he is crying. It got very real. Jalen is letting his guard down. The Lord is going to do a work in his life. Please pray for Jalen. Please pray for the many others we encountered. A few names are Roberto, Rick and the Lord knows the other names. The Lord continues to show up every week. He gives the increase. All we have to do is show up. He does the rest. We look forward to seeing what the Lord‘s going to do in Jalen‘s life. Please pray specifically for his salvation in Christ alone. Please pray for Jalen to be protected from the enemy. Please pray for him not to have an overdose. Please pray for him to be convicted over his life. The Lord can do the miraculous. HE is faithful. HE redeems the lost.
