Last Outing for 2024
Last night was our last bus outing of 2024. It was interesting! We met lots of new faces. Larry, Robert, Kevin, and Chris are a few of their names. We met one gentleman who asked us if we had jalapeño sauce and pennies? That was pretty random. We were able to engage in conversation with Chris for quite some time. He and his wife are both on the streets. They both struggle with drug use. Chris has been sober for a little while. His wife is active in prostitution and meth use. He was out on Admiral blvd looking for his wife. He explained that they lost their kids last year about this same time. Their kids are nine years old and six years old. They are in the foster system right now. He explained that he wants to get his own place, so he can try to get his kids back. Time is of the essence! Lord willing he will call us and we can get him plugged into some resources. He seems like he wants it. Please pray for Chris and his wife. Please pray for all of the others we encountered last night. Please pray for those out on the streets to seek shelter. It is going to get very cold over the next few weeks. Please pray for the Lord to rescue people out of the dominion the darkness. The Lord will do it.
