New (used) Bus Wrapped
Last night on the bus was incredible. The new bus is now wrapped and we are rolling! We are thankful to all who donated to get it wrapped!! We are thankful for Mobile Missions Network for letting us borrow their bus the past few weeks! We hit the streets and the Lord did not disappoint! We met up with James. He is a gentleman with a horrible spine situation. He had a big fusion surgery in 2010 from a car wreck. His back needs major attention! He has 6 children with his ex wife. He used to work as a pipe fitter in the oil field. His Marriage deteriorated after his wife committed adultery with his best friend. Life has had many twist interns since 2010. He was brutally honest about his life. He has been homeless for the past seven years. His back situation creates tremendous difficulties for walking for him. He is only 39 years old. Lord willing, he will reach out to us to get him some healthcare and housing. He requested a bicycle which we will get him today! Please pray for him! We also met up with Shawn. We picked him up at the bus stop. He had just got done donating plasma. He is in a pretty rough situation himself. He stays with his mother. She is being rehoused and he is worried that he can’t live with her. He has a five year-old daughter, who is in California. He says “he keeps going in life for her “. He starts a new job on Monday. He was so thankful for the ride. He told us “this confirms that I need to be back in church, it’s been heavy on my mind”. He was crying as he talked with us. A grown man crying is a real as it gets. Please pray for Shawn. Pray specifically for his moms housing situation and for him to get back into church. We have plenty of churches that would pour life into him! We met many others last night out on the streets. Lots of folks were just walking home from work. They were very thankful for the pizza, prayer, and bibles. Our driver took his gloves off and gave them to someone in need. Servant! Please pray for those who are lost to be found by Jesus Christ. HE will bring peace that surpasses all understanding!
