Lots of New People
Last night on the bus was great. We went a different route and decided on Admiral boulevard. There were lots of new people we met on the streets. We met a young man, his girlfriend, and his mother. They were all alcoholics. They started drinking at a very young age. We were able to talk about alcohol and generational sin. We were able to tall to them about being “Sober Minded” (1 Peter 5:8). They profess to be believers. However, they struggle. We are going to try and help them get their Social Security cards, unfortunately their belongings had been recently stolen. The Lord also sent us Rick. We have known Rick for years. He is a very nice guy who is a non-drug user, works for labor-ready and he has been on the streets for years. He is such a nice guy. He explained that he lost his 15-year-old son in a car accident five months ago. His son was a twin. We were able to pray with Rick and encourage him. He was very thankful for the pizza. They were many more who we met last night…People from all different walks of life. Christ is our only HOPE. HE Delivers from drug addiction and other trials in life. HE is faithful! Please pray for all the people we ministered to last night. Thankful for all who donated blankets this week. Thankful for all who donated Bibles this week. Thankful for all who contribute financially. Thankful for a living, loving, REDEEMER… HE REIGNS.
