Getting a 2nd Bus
We have some big news for getoutofthebus.org to announce! We are getting a second bus! It is being donated to us! We need your help! So many people stepped up 3 years ago when we got the double decker bus. This is your chance to partner with us again. This new (used) bus is a regular city bus that is located in Salina, Utah. It will require tires, and some basic maintenance to make the trip to Oklahoma. We will fly out next month and drive it home. Once here it will be outfitted for Ministry on the streets. This will include wrapping it, generator installation, and lots of renovations on the interior. The interior will have a barber chair inside along with other great things. This bus has Air conditioning and goes 70 mph! This will be great to go further distances for ministry, as well as be much more comfortable in the summer heat. No one likes to talk about money and ministry in the same sentence. Yet, money is required to do what we do every week. Insurance, storage, maintenance, fuel, providing funds to help folks get off the streets, getting folks the basic essentials for life, are just a few things that money goes to. I personally can guarantee no one is going to riding in Bentleys within this ministry. Nor will I personally ever live in a mansion as a result of this ministry. This ministry is an open book for anyone to see what happens every week. We are about seeing folks changed by the power of the Gospel. We are about going to the people who are in desperate need of the Hope of Jesus Christ. Will you consider partnering with us every month?
