Lots of Folks tonight

Incredible evening last night on the bus. We had lots of youth and young adults serving with us. We met lots of folks out on the streets. From the homeless, to the prostitute, to the cook at a local diner. Yet, Patrick stands out the most to me personally. He has been homeless for 3 weeks now. He simply got behind on his rent, and was living paycheck to paycheck as a painter. He is now out of work and on the streets. He was broken, hungry, and discouraged. He spoke of how he gets pizza out of Cici’s dumpster. He ate plenty of our fresh pizza. We had the opportunity to share the Gospel with him. We prayed for him. We gave him options for his life. He was thankful. He was literally crying. We met many others who have been on the streets for years and years. Sad stuff. Yet, God is faithful and will deliver. We must surrender to HIM on HIS terms or we will continue the downward spiral in life. HE is mighty to save us from our sins. HE desires to be known personally by human beings! Bless you!
