Life Change
So many things happened last night on the bus. I will focus on a few amazing things. We were joined by the folks with Mobile Missions/Church Inside Out, and the night was incredible. The night started with Ricky, Regina and their baby girl coming to see us before we left the parking lot. Pretty awesome. Both of them were on the streets involved with drugs and prostitution. They both have been sober for almost 1.5 years!! Ricky has his driver license now and they have a truck! They have housing as well! He has a full time job! I will be officiating their wedding in September! The Lord has been doing great things in their lives! Another touching moment was watching a senior adult lady (Marilee) pour life and encouragement into a guys life (James 37 years old). He got out of prison one month ago after serving 15 years! 2 weeks ago he was hit by car and dislocated his hip along with other injuries. He has been on the streets now since getting released from the hospital a few days ago. He is clean and sober. He was baptized in Prison on New Year’s Eve. He wants to find work. He wants purpose. He has not seen his kids in 15 years. He has not even met his youngest child, his ex was pregnant when he was sentenced. Lord willing James will be on track with work soon. We are going through the necessary channels to make this happen. Please pray for him. We picked up lots of other folks. Some just needed a ride home, while others were simply hungry. Another touching moment occurred when we pulled the bus up to a biker bar. The folks were extremely friendly, and gracious towards us. The Owner even came out and gave a large amount of cash for the ministry. The folks asked lots of questions about the ministry while they ate some hot pizza. You never know who the Lord will lead you to, he can use anyone. We must be ready and willing to “Go” to wherever HE leads. HE will send the folks who are in desperate need of the Living Messiah Jesus Christ. So thankful for all who came out. Thankful to all who support this ministry. Thankful for those who continually pray for us. The Lord has Risen and is mighty to save. Bless you!
