Jonathan
So proud of this dude right here. We met Jonathan almost 2 years ago at 11th/Garnett, he was strung out on Meth, skinny, skin sores all over him, angry, had multiple warrants, and without Hope. We have not seen him in quite some time until last night. He is doing great. He has been off Meth for 6 months, living in his own Apartment, gained about 40 pounds, looks healthy, has no warrants, has a legal ID, attending church, and is very excited about life. His girlfriend who is sober as well is expecting twins in June. So many folks on the bus have prayed for Jonathan and poured life into him. We prayed with him for a solid year. Sometimes you don’t see a change in people’s lives immediately, it takes time. The key is to not stop praying for a person regardless of how strung out or lost you think they are. The Lord hears prayer and is always working behind the scenes. Jonathan is a clear example of this! We met many other folks last night including a prostitute named Sierra. She wants to get her life back on track, yet she is dealing with some heavy issues. The Lord can heal her. Please pray for her. So thankful for everyone who came out to serve last night. Thankful for our guest who is a social worker. He was able to give resources out that are valuable to those in need of work etc. The Lord reigns. Join us!
