Homeless with a Bike
Very touching night on the bus Last night. A teenager who was saved on the bus 2 months ago, served with us. He always brings his friends with him. Pretty cool how the Lord works. We met lots of folks on the streets, they were very nice people. We even met a couple celebrating their 6th wedding anniversary. Yet, the most touching was picking up a homeless guy named Jason. He has been homeless for a few years, yet he was getting his life together. He has his drivers license, SS card, and no warrants. This is almost unheard of for a homeless person. He was so thankful for the clothing, hygiene pack, bible, etc. Yet, he literally was about crying when we put him a hotel for the night. He kept hugging everyone. He had not showered in 2 weeks. He will begin a new path today hopefully in a recovery program. The choice is his. Please pray for all those we encountered. The Lord is so faithful. Thankful for HIS everlasting Grace that abounds more and more each day. Thankful for all who donate resources every week to make this happen. Thankful for all who come out to serve every week. People desperately need the HOPE of Jesus Christ! Bless you! We can always use more coats and warm clothing!!
