Vietnam Veteran Shares Testimony
Great night tonight. A touching thing to see was watching a Vietnam veteran give his story of accepting Christ while in Vietnam. He wanted to pray for all of us on the bus and others, and he sure did. Incredible! We Met another Veteran named Austin, he has done tours overseas as a US Marine, then 12 years in prison, has 2 children and a 3 year old grandson. Very nice guy, and very honest about his alcohol problem. He is wanting to get back into life and have purpose. Please pray for the Lord to direct his steps. Pray that we can continue to build a relationship with him. We met some very young prostitutes (20,21), very sad to see. We got to witness to one of them for quite some time. Please pray for them! It was a great night continuing to build relationships with others with others. Lots of great news to share! One of the guys “Harold” has now been employed for about 3 weeks at little Caesars, and the Mgr says he is a great worker. Another lady tells us her family is going to be able to move out of the hotel very soon into their own home. Very exciting! We got some great news about “Regina” a former drug addict. We haven’t seen her in months. She is now married and off drugs, and is attending church regularly. She is so thankful for her new life! So thankful for all who came out to serve, thankful for HIS mercy, in saving sinners like us. He is on the throne and giving new life daily!
