Victory in Jesus!
Incredible night on the bus. We stopped at Little Caesars to grab pizzas. Charles (manager) tells us he is moving out of state. The corporation is giving him his own store to run, and making him an owner!!!! He will own 20 percent of the store! Charles has worked there 6 years, starting @ 7.25 an hour fresh out of prison! He is in his late 40’s. He tells us that he tells his employees constantly “your hard work will pay off”! Charles hard work has paid off! The highlight of the night was a guy who came on the bus, he was broken. He literally circled the bus a few times to check us out. His wife and him have been IV opiate users for a long time. He was a very nice guy, and brutally honest. His wife just got out of the hospital for drug related heart issues. She literally still has a Feeding tube in! He tells us where she is at and that she is too ashamed to come to the bus. We go to her. It takes her a while for her to trust us. She is use to people hurting her. She has been gang raped in front of her children. She was clearly a broken woman, and tells us she “pretty much wants to die most of the time”. They have 3 children and have been married 11 years. They have lost custody of all 3. They explained that they want to stop the drug use and get life back on track. They tell us they were both saved 3 years ago and baptized. They tell us that things have been downhill since. We explain that the enemy will not hold you captive any longer, and Christ has defeated sin on the cross. Sin will always be present, yet Christ who is their Lord will give them strength to resist (1 Cor 10:13). They both decided to leave the streets and accept the help being offered to them. We placed them in a hotel In South Tulsa that is secure and will get them into a treatment facility very soon. They will most likely be going to particular facility specifically for married couples. Please pray for Tim and Lindsey, it will be a uphill battle, but Christ has already won and they can win with HIM. Bless you. To get involved please message us. We can always use more people to serve. Having women serving with us is a essential part of this ministry. So thankful for the ones who support us financially and more importantly who pray for us. With God all things are possible! GO to the lost!
